INITIAL CONSULTATION

Your first visit is an opportunity for you to get to know the doctor, staff and treatment facilities.
At this visit, you will have to fill a form. At your first visit, Dr.Shrirang Joshi will determine if Orthodontic treatment is right for you or your child. If treatment is indicated, digital X-rays will be advised for a quick and more accurate diagnosis. Diagnostic records may be taken in steps at the same visit or scheduled as a separate appointment. Also, he will discuss your treatment options and costs in brief just to give you an overall idea.

Diagnostic records typically include X-rays, plaster study models of the teeth and photos of the patient's face and teeth. The study models and X-rays allows the doctor to take measurements and perform various analysis. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move. |

FINAL TREATMENT PLAN

After Dr. Joshi has evaluated your records, a customized treatment plan is made for each individual patient. The doctor will now discuss your particular treatment in detail. This will include
the type of treatment, the required time period and the number of visits required for your treatment. Depending on the complexity of the treatment, the final fee for your particular case will be given along with the choice of appliance / braces and payment options available.

REGULAR APPOINTMENTS
|

The process of appliance fixation usually takes two appointments of 30-45 minutes
each. Depending on your case, you'll then see us at regular intervals of approximately
6 to 8 weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes 10 to 15 minutes. Patients are
seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and
expect you to extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment,
please notify us immediately. Cancel only if it is an emergency. It is difficult
to reschedule your appointment, since most appointments are made 6 to 8 weeks in
advance. In case we have to change an appointment, you will get a call from us and
in this case, you will get an immediate available appointment. So please give at
least two phone numbers. Also, inform us in case your phone number changes.
